Our Founder: The Visionary Behind iTV Network

Kartikeya Sharma is an Indian politician, entrepreneur, and media baron currently serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha from Haryana. As the founder of ITV Media Network, Kartikeya has established a significant presence in the media industry, operating national and regional news channels in English, Hindi, and seven other languages, alongside publishing newspapers like The Sunday Guardian, The Daily Guardian, and Aaj Samaj. A Masters in Business Administration from King's College London, he launched ITV Media in 2007, and by 2015, the network had expanded to five regional channels under the India News brand, covering states such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

Kartikeya Sharma Founder, ITV Network

Dr. Aishwarya Pandit Sharma, Chairperson of the ITV Foundation, is a distinguished academic specializing in history and law. A first-class graduate in History from Miranda House, University of Delhi (2008), she pursued a Master’s in the History of International Relations at the London School of Economics (2008-2009) and completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2015. Her doctoral research, titled “From United Provinces to Uttar Pradesh: Heartland Politics, 1947-1970,” examined the political dynamics of Uttar Pradesh post-partition, with a focus on center-province relations and the impact of property laws on Muslim society. Her current work explores the evolution of waqf and evacuee property laws during the 1970s and 1980s, offering critical insights into their socio-political implications. She has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Faculty at IIM Indore (2016-2017).

ITV Next International Media & Management School , New Delhi is an Technical and Academic Collaborative partner with Mangalayatan University, Uttar Pradesh Act” established the university and granted it the authority to issue degrees in accordance with section (2f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act.The Uttar Pradesh government announced the establishment of the university as Act No. 32 of 2006 through its October 30, 2006, Gazette No. 362/VII-V-1-1(Ka)-12/2006 and notified u/s 2(6), UGC Act 1956 of University Grants Commission, Govt. of India. On due completion of the respective courses, students are awarded reguler degrees/diplomas/certificates by Mangalayatan University
