iTV Foundation has a vision to provide quality medical facilities and financial assistance to people who need it most. The foundation has worked extensively among the economically disadvantaged and vulnerable sections of the society through concerted efforts to provide them with quality healthcare support in addition to assistance for treatment and rehabilitation. Seeking to provide an enabling environment for health and hygiene in urban villages as well as remote areas, the foundation works in close coordination with charitable organizations, like-minded individuals and healthcare providers to launch collaborative efforts to drive the importance of health, sanitation and hygiene.

Towards this goal, iTV Foundation organizes free medical camps in association with qualified team of doctors and social workers to provide medical care and financial assistance to achieve the goal for better health care for all, since its inception the foundation has been working at the grassroots.

Aakhri Boond Initiative

Water is not an infinite resource, we need to use it wisely, conserve it where ever we can and reuse it as much as possible.

While the water crises became the prominent problem all over India. iTV Network, being a responsible news network took an initiative to launch ‘Aakhri Boond’ – the first of its kind and the biggest water conservation initiative in the country.

Aakhri Boond campaign primarily focuses on creating awareness about conservation of water, reusing and recycling it. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, during his radio speech on ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has given a clarion call to the citizens of the country to join hands to save water during monsoon.

During the 360-degree pan-India campaign of Aakhri Boond, iTV Network will sensitize and educate people across pan-India about conservation of water reservoirs, present situation of depleting state of water and adopting steps to save water. 

Aakhri Boond: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Gajendra Shekhawat, Kartikeya Sharma Launch Campaign To Save Water

iTV Network launched the country’s biggest TV campaign #AakhriBoond to spread awareness and inculcate good habits of water conservation among people at Vishalakshi Mandapam, The Art of Living International Center in Bangalore on Monday. The event was graced by Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and iTV Foundation Founder and Promoter Kartikeya Sharma and other dignitaries. 

At the event, people took a pledge to conserve water as 33 crore people in India are facing water shortage, 25% of the country is witnessing drought situation while our metropolitan cities like Delhi and Bengaluru are likely to run out of drinking water soon.

The mega campaign was launched to spread the message that all of us can play a key role in saving each and every drop of water. In this regard, a mobile app Aakhri Boond was also launched and Sri Sri Ravishankar, along with millions of his followers, and people who were present both inside and outside the Vishalakshi Mandapam in Karnataka, took the noble pledge to conserve water. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said the campaign to conserve water is the need of the hour.

Japanese Encephalitis: Free Health Camps In Gorakhpur, Maharajganj & Khushi Nagar

iTV Foundation organized a health check-up camp with leading doctors of MAX Hospital and Medanta Hospital for Japanese encephalitis patients in Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Khushi Nagar and the nearby areas for the last 10 years. 

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the camps and appreciated the work done by ITV Foundation. This program is supported by the Reckitt Benckiser Group. The camp was attended by more than 1000 patients and free Dettol kits were distributed to each patient.

Free Health Camps In Haryana & Punjab

Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated iTV Foundation free health camp in Karnal and appreciated the initiative taken by the foundation. 

iTV Foundation organized a free health check-up free health camp, which took place in Bathinda, Punjab. Doctors and volunteers at the camp assisted the people with their general check-ups, cancer check-up and were also made aware of the drugs. iTV Network Commits Rs 100 Cr Tv Space For Rotary Rahat’s Health Mission

On its mission to bring effective change in India, Rotary Rahat rolled out the world’s biggest health mission in July 2021. Led by a team of committed Rotarians all across the world, the mission will cover all of India. NewsX recently organized a special public service broadcast to spread awareness about the initiative, which was joined by Shekhar Mehta, incoming Rotary International president of 2021-22, Dr Naresh Trehan, Padma Bhushan and chairman of Medanta, Vivek Tankha, Member of Parliament and Rotarian himself, and Kartikeya Sharma, founder of iTV Network.

Narrating his experience with Rotary, Kartikeya Sharma said, “I was part of the 2019 Rahat camp and saw what was happening. It was mind-boggling and motivated us at ITV Foundation as well to collaborate and take it to the furthest. Everything about Rotary is massive and what rotary as an organization has been doing is fantastic. 

Rahat is a fantastic concept and it has reached millions of people in the last decade. When we spoke about it, I wanted to be a part of this organization with names such as Medanta and Dr Trehan associated with it and the initiatives taken by the civil society which make healthcare possibilities happen.” He further committed Rs 100 crore worth of TV space across the ITV network to promote and take the mission to the farthest parts of the country over the next year.

‘Edutech For A Cause’: First In Class & Rotary India Literacy Mission Sign MoU

In a bid to create the largest free-of-cost edutech initiative in India and the world, First In Class (FIC) edutech platform has signed an MoU with Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM). As part of the initiative, 1,00,000 tablet PCs to be distributed to families of armed & police forces martyrs to provide e-learning & live teaching modules free of cost. The beneficiaries of the initiative will also include Covid warriors & EWS beneficiaries.

Marking the occasion of the 75th year of India’s Independence – Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, First In Class will provide K to 12 high-quality curated content in line with CBSE-NCERT curricula in Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi & 6 other regional languages. This will facilitate inclusion, access & mother-tongue learning.

More than 10,000 hours of audio-visual & graphical interface content will be part of the course libraries. This will be linked with interactive testing & assessment nodules. The coursework will be facilitated with live teaching. A special continuous review deck for parents to track the progress of their wards will be available in a user-interface friendly format. Cultural learning, language learning, linguistic training and spiritual learning modules will also be available through the platform, along with entrance test modules and specialization in UPSC, Law & Engineering.

Sunday Guardian Foundation for Global Policy researches nation-level geopolitical, geo-economic, geophysical and societal trends with a view to understanding, anticipating and mitigating global challenges. It examines these flows from an Indian viewpoint, informed by international cooperation. The Foundation’s core principles are the defense of democracy, the expansion of liberty, and the fostering of dynamic yet stable societies and economies.

To this end, the Foundation supplements its research with conferences and workshops where national and international domain specialists can seek common solutions to a wide range of issues, including security threats and economic challenges. It is also a platform for experts from relevant fields, including security, defense, private sector and science to meet and exchange perspectives. TSG Foundation welcomes participation from individuals and institutions with similar interests.
